I read this quote this morning and it was soooo encouraging!
Its sooo wonderful that we can always have the lord and the word to turn to!

Life on Earth is a journey. It's going to be difficult sometimes, and you'll get dirty. This is part of the plan, because I made it so. I know that it's impossible for you to not stumble on the rocky road, to not make wrong decisions sometimes, to not get lost along the way, to not get weary or discouraged about the path that you are on, to not question My love for you. But during these moments when things are most difficult, you can rely on the fact that I love you in spite of it all.

Life is about continuing the journey and always knowing that falling is a part of the journey, but that I am proud of you and I love you. You are not a disappointment because you are not perfect, or because you didn't do as well as someone else.

I don't compare you with others or measure your accomplishments against theirs. You stand all on your own when it comes to Me and you. You are My beautiful creation, fashioned as a sculptor would fashion a sculpture. I'm proud of you, My creation. You're beautiful in every way, unique, precious, and a prize in My collection. ("Perfect

Princess

My princess is soooo pretty!

Survival

So...I am looking out my window and i am seeing an all too familiar scene! My dearest Rick and one of the kids 'Drying out Apricots'!
The kids seem to love being involved in this process, most likely because of all the fascinating tales that Rick tells about using the apricots as survival in the 'End Time'
Now believe me these 'dried apricots' are nothing like you would imagine getting from a store--which is why i often frown at this little activity. It seems to me that they do nothing more than rot a little and get badly sunburned!!
as the end product is a very dark brown shriveled thing!
but Rick and the kids seem to lap them right up--Rick has assured me that they will taste great in my bowel of "End time Muesli"
So far we have several large bags of brown shriveled apricots in our camper! next to our 2 sacks of beans and our bag of rice! TYJ!--I know i will be one happy camper:P

Well i suppose i shouldn't Knock it as Im sure one of these days while i am frantically running away from the AC himself ducking behind enemy lines...i will reach into my pocket and pull out a little brown bit, tears of gratitude will flow down my face as I hungrily nosh on none other then Ricks dried apricots!!!
TYJ!

Moving Again!

Sooooo, we have moved again....Well just accross the hall actually-ha
so we didnt have to rent a truck or anything!
Any how, I love it!!! I dont know why we didnt do it sooner, we are now in the back two rooms and I feel sooo much better having Trev next door instead of across the hall (I dont know what we were thinking before??)
Its much cozier too! were a little shorter on storage space, but it is definently a "change for the better"
Aside from that we have been doing some fun things!
I know that i never blog--but lets see some of the highlights!
Pabs,Jess and I took the kids to "Movies in the park night" last week! It was a beautiful evening and a great crowd! there was a band playing when we got there,a bunch of oldies! the movie was 'surfs-up' so they played a bunch of beach boy songs!
but the highlight of the evening was the "hot Air balloons"
they Blew three huge hot air balloons up and they would light up evey couple of minutes it was really gorgeous!
a lovely evening all in all-TYJ!
4th of Jully was a fun day too. Rick had to work so it was just me and the kids at home and i figured i had to do at least a tiny something--so early in the afternoon i took the kids to the store and we bought some Poppers (child safe fire works--more like noise makers) I was actually trying to get sparklers! but couldnt find any!

we grilled chicken and had a picnic outside--then we had a water baloon fight!
It was funny as the water baloons only bounced off of us and splashed on the ground
we had got a special movie to watch together and were thinking of watching the fire works on tv, but then we started hearing some noises! so we ran out to the back yard and sure enough we had a great view of the local fire works!!
I was sooo happy as we didnt have to go anywhere and brave the crazy crowds and traffic--we had everything right in our back yard!
Leana loved the "fire works' and the barking Dogs!

I also got to have a fun "girls night" Thanks Nina and Paula! You guys were the bestest hosteses!!
and that pretty much concludes my update!
Ta ta then
